India To The Rescue?
When Y2K was upon us, there was ample warning and a definite countdown to, well, Y2K. But what about the arrival of quantum supremacy and the breaking of encryption algorithms? Quantum is coming (Q2K). What if Q2K is 5 years away? Are we ready? Will we be ready? What if it is sooner? The Hindustan Times postulates the West will be knocking at the door of Indian IT to solve the Q2K problem. Because quantum is coming, we just don’t know when.
