Autonomous Vehicle Research Using Quantum Computing. Ford Motor Company is seeking use of NASA’s quantum artificial intelligence laboratory’s (QuAIL) quantum computer. The D-Wave 2000Q is being sought by Ford to aid in conducting research of autonomous automobiles. Ford is purportedly in contract with the space agency for $100K.
