Industrial Immune System. The U.S. DoE has awarded $3.9M to General Electric to lead a quantum-secured project for industrial systems. The project’s mission is to integrate time-sensitive networking and quantum-key distribution. In accomplishing this goal, GE will secure industrial communications within a single network, resistant to quantum computer attacks.
