Rhode Island Getting Quantum Technology Center. Newport Rhode Island and the Entanglement Research Institute are developing a quantum computing center. Spending $120M to fully build the center, it will have a workforce of upwards of 300 staff. The project is at the forefront of current quantum computing development and is given momentum with the United States’ new National Quantum Initiative Act, now law.
