University of Bristol Sets Aside $65M for Training Researchers


University of Bristol Receives $65M for Training Researchers.  
The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) has awarded funding for nine Centres for Doctoral Training (CDT).  The CDTs will train and equip engineering and science students with the skills needed to tackle global challenges including cybersecurity. 

“Bristol’s nine centres will cover a broad range of disciplines that will be vital for knowledge and expertise in the future, including areas [such as] quantum engineering.”

The award is the highest monetary amount to any university in the U.K. to date.
