Quantum Scaling: L&T-Cloudfiniti and QpiAI to drive quantum workloads and applications.
Mission Alignment: Collaboration supports India’s National Quantum Mission initiatives.
Commercial Impact: Solutions will serve industries like finance, logistics, and healthcare.
L&T-Cloudfiniti has teamed up with Bengaluru-based QpiAI to advance scalable quantum computing in India and globally. This strategic move focuses on running Quantum Computing as a Service (QCAAS), which enables enterprise-ready applications powered by advanced quantum infrastructure.
"We are thrilled to partner with QpiAI to drive quantum computing workloads globally. This collaboration will leverage our cloud infrastructure to host and execute quantum algorithms, enabling scalable deployment of quantum solutions across domains. Together, we aim to deliver innovative and efficient solutions to our customers and enhance operational efficiency."
— Seema Ambastha, Chief Executive, L&T-Cloudfiniti
The collaboration is aligned with the goals of India’s National Quantum Mission. QpiAI, the creator of India’s 25-qubit Indus computer, plans to release a 256-qubit system and ultimately a fault-tolerant machine with 100 logical qubits. These capabilities promise practical and large-scale deployment of quantum technologies across sectors.
The effort will combine L&T’s enterprise cloud and AI-ready data center infrastructure with QpiAI’s deep-tech engineering. Their joint roadmap includes research and development in AI-quantum integration, creating solutions tailored for complex challenges in fields such as logistics, healthcare, and finance.
L&T-Cloudfiniti operates hyperscale data centers in Mumbai and Chennai. Their offerings include colocation services, GPU cloud access, and digital transformation support—designed to meet the high-performance needs of global enterprise and public-sector clients.
"The collaboration with L&T-Cloudfiniti marks a significant milestone in the advancement of quantum computing technology. By combining our technical expertise with L&T’s industry leadership, we are poised to drive innovation and deliver cutting-edge solutions to our customers. We are excited about the opportunities this partnership will bring under India’s National Quantum Mission."
— Dr. Nagendra Nagaraja, CEO, QpiAI
Meanwhile, QpiAI is one of eight startups chosen by the Indian government under the National Quantum Mission. Its vertically integrated stack spans hardware, software, and applications to support scalable quantum computing innovation across science and industry.
