With Alibaba’s recent announcement to offer up to 11 quantum bits to its customers for experimentation, Baidu expressed its intent to open the doors to the Baidu Quantum Computing Institute circa 2023. Baidu boasts the next five years will see integration of quantum computing into its operations. How so is yet to be learned.
