Volkswagen has reported the use of quantum computing in auto-battery development. In conjunction with Google and D-Wave, VW simulated molecular interactions in batteries. This successful use case of quantum computing technology will be used as a vehicle to broaden VW’s scope of future quantum computing use and furthering quantum computer algorithm development.
