Australia Must Change “Do Nothing” Approach to Succeed in Disruptive Technology Economy, Quantum Computing Environment.  
Former Telstra executive, David Thodey, is pitching a warning at Australia: “Do nothing” and your economic future will not “look pretty.”

Conducting a national review, Thodey’s is encouraging the Australian government to change their tack.  What has done well for the past 25 years is unlikely to continue doing well as technology is rapidly changing on the horizon. 

Quantum computing, robotics, artificial intelligence, and 5G are rapidly developing around the world.  To survive in the future, Australia must embrace technology and innovation.  Diversification into these new technologies, driven by the private sector, is seen as the avenue for continuing Australia’s prosperity.
