Google + China: Quantum Computing, Disruptive Technology and Censorship. There is no question that in China, there are no First Amendment rights as found in the U.S. Anyone in Information Technology, even as an end-user, should have the faintest idea of the control the information age’s mega-corporations, such as Google and Microsoft, wield over the content and information the end-user sees.
With the competition to develop AI and quantum computing fueling a technology race between companies and nations, ethical questions should be raised about the marriage between mega-corporations and China’s government which is known to have already wed it’s military and commercial industry.
