One Photon, One Exchange, Two-Way Communication

At least experimentally, a group of researchers have shown the ability to perform two-way communication using a single photon, distributed between two parties, once. The study has also developed a basis for additional communication protocols including secure communications. The original report and related discussion give pause to consider the possibilities of quantum superposition beyond what we have seen to date.
