The Quantum Brain Project

Is your brain a quantum computer? A group of researchers from around the globe has funding to study the human brain’s potentially quantum computing processes. It is thought that the key to long term memories is at the quantum level. Knowing quantum computers require ultra-cold and stable environments would make the brain’s 98.6 degrees F, humid environment, an unlikely place to find quantum mechanics at play. An assertion within the study is that the spin at the atmoic nuclei are an exception to the cold and stable requirement. The Quantum Brain Project, or QuBrain, is getting underway. Read on.
