Qubits and Manufacturing; Step to a Solution? Is it the error correction or is it? Most CMOS chips are composed of silicon and until some recent thoughtful research, deemed incompatible with qubits. Try “quantum dot qubits” on for size. CMOS fabrication technologies as we know them may be scalable up into the millions of q-dot qubits, so thinks this group of researchers.
