Rigetti, arguably the world leader in the race to quantum advantage, is offering quantum cloud computing services to anyone. To encourage participation, the company has put up an award of $1M for the first organization which produces an application achieving quantum advantage. Chemical manufacturers, finance giants, and the military, to name several sectors, stand to gain in immeasurable ways once this feat has been accomplished.
