Alternative Qubit Design
Researchers from the U.K., Germany, and Russia, have created a new superconductor qubit. The qubit, composed of super-conducting nanowires, is as-good-as Josephson Junction superconductors. This qubit is founded on quantum phase slip. QPS is failing and recovering superconductivity in thin nanowires in a controllable manner.
