Detecting Stealth Aircraft, Remaining Undetected

Uses for quantum computers and the science involved are seemingly limitless. Military uses take the lead in the media, this time for a use other than cracking encryption. It’s stealth technology they’re looking to defeat. The challenge is getting a high rate of entangled photons generated. Researchers at the Institute for Quantum Computing in Waterloo are studying this military use. April 14, 2018.

Using entangled photons to detect stealth aircraft is a focus of study at the University of Waterloo.
