Korea, The Good One, Investing Just Under $450M, In Part for Quantum Computing and Quantum Sensing. 
Moon Mi-ok, South Korea’s Vice Minister of Science and ICT, announced the country’s investments in disruptive technologies, this past week.  Over the next ten years, data, artificial intelligence, and quantum computing, amongst other disreuptive technologies, will be receiving upwards of 450 million USD.

Notably, and quantum computing-related spending on intelligent semiconductor research and development will be nearly 1.3 billion USD. Specifically mentioned in her briefing were quantum computing and quantum sensor development.  Quantum sensors are key components needed to further quantum computer development.  South Korea appears to be ‘all-in’ for the quantum computing marathon.  Qubit.
